The son of an accomplished portraitist, Krys has been painting since childhood. He attended Norwich School of Art and has been exhibiting professionally since 1996. He has shown all over England and parts of the Irish Republic and has work in private collections around the world.
Tracy's first ambition was to be an illustrator. She attended
Herts College of Art and Design in St Albans and gained a place to
study printmaking and photography at Brighton Art College. However,
a series of events led her into a 30 year career in TV production.
She now concentrates on her artwork, garden and textile
work.
This is the new venue for Tracy’s
printing press and all her work is now produced here. She opened
the studio on 1st October and has created a light and fresh
workspace/gallery where she displays her original prints along with
her graphic work, photography, paintings and
ceramics.
Also featured is a
selection of Krys’s paintings.
It is a lovely space set in the
lower courtyard at Alby Crafts & Gardens, located
between Aylsham and Cromer. She and her fellow artists and
craftsmen are busy producing unique works - from furniture,
sculpture, pottery, bespoke clothing and much more - all year
round. Much of it cannot be seen anywhere else in Norfolk. There is
a beautiful garden to wander in, a superb Cafe and the odd
encounter with the resident peacocks!
